Strong, durable, and made from a high temperature clay body that can be fired multiple times and withstand rugged treatment. Great for kiln firing ceramic tiles, plates, mugs, and bowls! Specifically designed for loading a piece of ceramic into your kiln with glaze on the bottom side. The glazed ceramic rests on the metal points on the top side of the stilt, preventing it from touching the kiln shelf. Even though the metal points are touching the glazed piece, they will not stick to the glaze.
